Sometimes I see things in pieces – this is particularly true when I shoot boudoir sessions. I see the whole body and then I see a part that captivates. It’s usually a curve I wan to accentuate or a shadow that casts the perfect mysterious light. This was cropped in-camera, meaning this is how this photo was shot – I didn’t crop it later. I saw the curve and wanted that to be the focus.
