I love spending time with my husband and daughter. My happy place on a Friday night is in bed with my daughter snuggling and watching our favorite reality TV shows and reading!
I like the way it smells just before it rains, when tree leaves turn over to catch the drops.
I love the color and smell of autumn and the feeling of winter, especially the first day that it’s warm enough for a cozy sweater.
My home is my happy place and I have a decorative pillow problem. I live for an afternoon at West Elm, Home Goods or in the home section of Target.
We have a family home on the Outer Banks that my parents bought when I was a young girl. I love off-seasons there and the way the salty wood smell of the house permeates my clothes and stays with me when I come back to the real world.
Many things inspire and influence my photography; from fashion magazines to the beautifully photographed Garden & Gun magazine. I’m a hybrid photographer – shooting with digital and film equipment. While working with clients I look for beautiful light and locations that are unique – location scouting is one of my favorite ways to pass the time!
