I’ve been thinking about what someone “sexy.” Is it our individual attraction to them? Are some people just naturally sexier than others? Is sexy always overt?
In boudoir “sexy” can be a lot of things. Sexy can be obvious – lots of skin showing, provocative posing. Or sexy can be mysterious…leaving a little to the imagination. My boudoir style leans more towards a more fine art style – poses that are beautiful, elegant, elongated, confident and that often leave a little to the imagination. I love photographing things like the curve of a hip bone peeking out from a beautiful lace chemise….there’s just something to be said for a little bit of mystery.
